In CNC machining, why does the roughing emit smoke?
The problem of smoking during processing may occur due to the following reasons:
1. The extreme pressure of metal cutting oil is poor. It is recommended to replace cutting oil products containing more sulfurized extreme pressure agents.
2. The base oil has a low flash point, so replace the base oil with a high flash point as a carrier.
3. The oil supply system fails, such as deviation of the oil supply position, insufficient oil supply, etc. The solution is to adjust the oil supply position and increase the oil supply of the oil pump.
4. If the viscosity of the oil is too high, it is recommended to use the same base oil for dilution, or directly replace the product with lower viscosity.
Two factors, one is the low flash point of the cutting oil and the poor lubricating extreme pressure, the other is that the high speed and processing volume cause some workshops that do machining center processing, there is often a situation of oil mist covering, that is Inside the workshop, there are many things that feel like fog, floating in the air of the workshop. Why does the cutting fluid of the machining center emit smoke? The reason for this is mainly due to the excessive oil mist generated by the cutting fluid in the machining center. Choose a cutting fluid of good quality: In the selection of cutting fluid, the cutting fluid for machining centers with good processing performance and good oil mist resistance should be selected according to the materials to be processed.
Regular maintenance of cutting fluid: in the process of using the cutting fluid of the machining center, do a good job of maintaining the cutting fluid, and regularly register and record various data of the cutting fluid. For example: the state of cutting fluid, whether there is suspended matter on the surface, pH value, concentration, etc. are recorded.
Make ventilation facilities in the workshop: The cutting fluid should take ventilation measures in the workshop to keep the air circulation in the workshop. Operators should take protective measures during metal processing, such as wearing work clothes and protective clothing such as masks.
